Donation / Transaction Cancellation Policy

Mehubarim La'am non-profit organization is committed to providing professional and transparent service to every donor. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, we provide the following policy regarding the cancellation of donations or transactions:

Right of Cancellation:

The person performing the action (donor) is entitled to cancel the donation within 30 days from the day the donation was made, whether it was executed via the internet or by phone, and this is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.

Cancellation Procedure:

To request a cancellation of a donation, please contact the non-profit organization through one of the following channels:

The donor's name, the date of the donation, and the donation amount must be specified in the details of the inquiry.

Execution of the Change or Cancellation:

The non-profit organization will execute the required change or cancellation in accordance with the policy practiced at that time by the credit card company.

In the event that the credit card company charges the non-profit organization a fee for the cancellation or change of the amount, the person performing the action (the donor) will be charged with said fee.

Confirmation of Cancellation:

After receiving the request for cancellation, the non-profit organization will send a confirmation via email regarding the receipt of the request and the cancellation process.

Changes to the Policy:

The non-profit organization reserves the right to update the cancellation policy from time to time, in accordance with changes in the law or internal policy. Any change will be published on the non-profit organization's website.

Privacy Statement and Retention of Details

We at Mehubarim La'am non-profit organization are committed to protecting the privacy of donors and visitors to the website. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it, to whom it is delivered (if at all), and how long we retain it.

What Details We Collect

• Identifying details: Full name, email address, phone number.
• Billing details: The last four digits of the credit card, card type, and expiration date.
• Donation details: Amount, currency, date and time, payment method, reference number.
• Website usage data: IP address, browser type, visited pages, access times.

• Compliance with regulatory, accounting requirements and fraud prevention.
